Any changes, modifications, or implementations based on Plan Review suggestions must be discussed with and approved by the builder and their appointed structural engineer. For clients using Plan Review for house they constructing, all suggestions must also be reviewed and approved by a qualified architect and structural engineer before implementation. The client acknowledges that the suggestions provided may not necessarily be agreeable, feasible, or acceptable to the builder, structural engineer, or client themselves.
Scope of Service
Plan Review is limited to providing conceptual recommendations for floor plan improvements. It does not include detailed architectural, structural, or electrical drawings, nor does it constitute a guarantee that the suggested changes can be implemented without modification.
Revisions
Plan Review provides the client with one initial proposal, and the client is entitled to request up to two revisions. Any further revisions will be treated as additional services and may incur additional charges, to be mutually agreed upon.
No Liability
While Plan Review aims to provide the best professional suggestions based on the available floor plan and the client’s requirements, the service provider cannot be held liable for any cost, damage, or inconvenience arising from implementation of the suggestions, whether partially or fully.
Client Acknowledgment
By availing the Plan Review service, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, including the conceptual nature of the suggestions, the limitation of revisions, and the requirement to consult qualified professionals prior to any implementation.
This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the Plan Review service offered by SPACE edit – Your Design Paartner and accepted by the undersigned client
1. Nature of Service
Plan Review provides conceptual suggestions and layout recommendations intended to help clients better understand potential improvements to their house plan. This service does not constitute detailed architectural, structural, or construction design.
2. Client Responsibility and Approvals
Any suggested changes, modifications, or implementations must be reviewed and approved by the client’s builder, architect, and structural engineer before execution.
Clients acknowledge that suggestions may not always be agreeable, feasible, or acceptable to them, their builder, or consultants.
If the client is constructing the house independently, they must ensure all suggestions are approved by qualified professionals before implementation.
3.Submission Process
The client must upload:
A copy of the house plan with all the required dimension.
A clear note on their requirements / thoughts.
Based on the inputs, Plan Review will review the layout and, if necessary, arrange a discussion call with the client.
4. Scope of Service
Plan Review is limited to conceptual floor plan reviews and suggestions.
It does not include detailed drawings, working drawings, structural calculations, electrical layouts, or construction documents.
Suggestions are based on information provided by the client. There may be discrepancies compared to actual site conditions, and errors may arise from such variations.
5. Revisions
PlanCheck includes one initial proposal.
Clients are entitled to two or one revisions based on the plan and feedback.
Any further revisions will be treated as additional services, subject to extra charges.
6. Possibility of No Change
In certain cases, the existing layout will not allow any changes based on the planning.
7. Refund Policy
If no changes are needed or possible , PlanCheck will refund 50% of the service fee.
The remaining 50% will be retained to cover the time and effort spent on review and analysis.
8. Payment Terms
The full service fee is to be paid upfront at the time of uploading the plan.
No review will be initiated until payment is received.
Any additional services (such as extra revisions beyond the included two, or requests outside the defined scope) will be billed separately and must be paid in advance before commencement.
9. No Liability
While PlanCheck aims to provide useful and practical suggestions, the service provider shall not be held liable for any cost, damage, or inconvenience arising from implementation (full or partial) of the suggestions.
10. Client Acknowledgment
By signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees that:
They have read and understood the nature and limitations of the service.
All changes will only be implemented after approval from qualified professionals.
They accept the revision limits, refund terms, payment terms, and liability exclusions outlined above
